Responsibilities of the Auto Parts Person:
- Selling products and/or services to meet customer needs
- Achieving an annual minimum parts and accessories sales objective (reasonably set out by management)
- Recording sales and/or counter transactions
- Supplying Service Technicians with parts as required
- Contributing in maintaining an accurate and effective parts inventory control system and return policy
- Assisting with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
- Verifying receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
- Assisting in maintains all department tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements for the Auto Parts Person:
- 2+ years experience in a Parts Department
- Proven ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Able to work extended hours and weekends if needed (Saturday mornings on rotation)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret basic Parts Department reports
- Willing to travel locally to assist in deliveries
