Automotive Parts Person: Fairview Alberta

 

Responsibilities of the Auto Parts Person:

  • Selling products and/or services to meet customer needs
  • Achieving an annual minimum parts and accessories sales objective (reasonably set out by management)
  • Recording sales and/or counter transactions
  • Supplying Service Technicians with parts as required
  • Contributing in maintaining an accurate and effective parts inventory control system and return policy
  • Assisting with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
  • Verifying receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
  • Assisting in maintains all department tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements for the Auto Parts Person:

  • 2+ years experience in a Parts Department
  • Proven ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Able to work extended hours and weekends if needed (Saturday mornings on rotation)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret basic Parts Department reports
  • Willing to travel locally to assist in deliveries
