The Position

Licensed Journeyman Auto Diesel Technician

The Offer

Licensed Journeymen Auto Technicians.

• Flat rate shop ($38.50/hour with advance after 90 Days)
• $3.00/hour efficiency bonus after 100 hours per pay period
• Benefits after 90 days
• Tool Allowance after 2 years
• Relocation allowance for the right candidate

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair gas and/or diesel engines
• Complete scheduled overhauls
• Troubleshoot various mechanical problems both on-site and via telephone
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Travel can be expected
• Provide assistance to other trades, as required

Required Qualifications include:

• Journeyman Mechanical Inter-Provincial Trade Certification would be an asset
• Class 5 driver's license (equivalent or better)
• Experience with electronic controlled engines
• Ability to interpret drawings, diagrams and specifications of a variety of types of mechanical equipment, including manufacturer’s manuals and parts books
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Advanced computer skills
