The Consultant’s Resource is expected to provide the majority of services on a fulltime basis in Edmonton and be available for the majority of Government of Alberta business hours through the duration of the SOW Agreement.
Mandatory Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent professional work experience
Ideal Candidate:
1. Experience in working with Design Patterns, UML, and Object Oriented Analysis & Design |
2. Experience as in design, analysis and data architecture, preferably working with Java/J2EE web based system development |
3. Experience in translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements |
4. Experience in developing integrated system and technical design specifications on complex engagements |
5. Excellent analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, communication, presentation and documentation skills |
6. Operational experience in applying industry best practices and methodologies pertaining to the processing, handling, and operational management of functions within a technical design environment |
7. Experience in designing and implementing an end-to-end enterprise solution across multiple platforms on complex engagements |
8. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment |
9. Experience in the delivery of social services within the public sector |
10. Experience in enterprise level logical and physical data modeling, mapping and migration on complex engagements |
11. Experience with integrating distributed business processes, data replication, enterprise portal integration |
12. Experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions, preferably related to social enterprise management. |
