The Consultant’s Resource is expected to provide the majority of services on a fulltime basis in Edmonton and be available for the majority of Government of Alberta business hours through the duration of the SOW Agreement.

Demonstrated experience as an Infrastructure Technology Consultant
Ideal Candidate:
Related Degree or Diploma |
Experience working in the IT industry. |
Experience designing, planning, implementing and supporting Windows Active Directory and related infrastructure solutions |
Experience working with LAN/WAN internetworking technologies planning and deployment |
Experience in Architecture/ Standards Management - developing an effective IT operations architecture encompassing organization, process and tools necessary to deliver on service goals |
Proven leadership, organizational, planning, estimating and communications skills |
Experience documenting of business cases to achieve maximum efficiency in technology. |
Extensive experience in IT Infrastructure architecture and the relationships among the components that make up an IT service — from end-user devices to servers, networks, storage, applications and data |
Proven ability to function on an individual basis and in a team/group environment |
Experience working in Government of Alberta environment |
Experience working in the GoA Domain environment |
Proven ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends |
Proven ability and willingness to travel to customer sites as required |
